BEACHES

The Rio shoreline stretches for 40km, divided into 37 beaches. Rio has a scores of beaches, with some oceanic and others within the bay, each with its own physical characteristics, visited by bathers from different social and cultural backgrounds, each with its own history, personality and activities.

ADVENTURE

Along the coast of the beaches, you can enjoy bycicle rides, horse-drawn carriages. Water sport lovers would never have enough of Rio... From 'banana' boats rides pulled by motor boats, as well as pedals one, fishing and rowing and surfing of all kinds boogies-boarders, windsurfers and surf-casters.

CULTURE

Rio is a place where one can enjoy all the wonders of culture in the world. Museums are many and varied-art, history, technology and science, each with its own peculiarity. Enjoy the most valuable work of arts with historic churches, architecture, fountains, statues and monuments. Explore this exotic culture with its music, the samba, its food, its fashion, its bars, its fairs and its restaurants. Don't miss the greatest show on earth, Carnaval. It is the most contagious manifestation of the Carioca (native of Rio) spirit. You can join in on any of this merr-making. Nobody is left out.

NATURE

18% of its total area is pure greenery, with hundreds of kilometres of of trails alone the forest. There you will find a breathtaking combination view, waterfalls, and grottos. There is a little of everything; small monkeys, coatis, sloths, and all kinds of flaura. The city is surrounded with a variety of Parks , one more natural than the other.
